Overview[edit]
StarsBoba is a Vietnamese Dota 2 team mainly known for its early DotA team which competed against other Asian teams at the highest level.
History[edit]
DotA[edit]
StarsBoba under SoSoon competed with the top teams of Asia during 2009 and 2010, taking WCG Asia both years. They notably defeated Nirvana.my, who at the time had both Mushi and Yamateh in the roster, at the finals of WCG Asia 2010. [1] The team however fell in sharp decline after the retirement of SoSoon in 2011, and eventually the remaining roster switched to playing League of Legends and DotA in parallel.
2011[edit]
The remaining squad was invited to The International 2011 but had to decline due to visa issues.[2]
2012[edit]
A new roster was announced with players from other Vietnamese teams.[3]
The roster didn’t achieve any success and eventually became inactive.
2014[edit]
- April 23rd, StarsBoba returns with to Dota 2 with SoSoon, Recca, Jessica, Crykiller, KusakabeMisuzu and Chargers as a six-man roster.[4]
