- On top of the skill’s own lifesteal, Lifestealer additionally can lifesteal the damage dealt by this ability with other sources of lifesteal. It also can crit or cleave.
- The heal is fully independent from the bonus damage dealt, meaning it always heals for the full amount, regardless of how much damage Feast did to the target.

- Poison Sting is a Unique Attack Modifier, and does not stack with other Unique Attack Modifiers.
- Debuffs of successive attacks do not stack, but refresh the duration instead.
- The damage ticks in 1 second intervals, starting immediately when the debuff is placed, resulting in 2 damage ticks.
- Can deal up to 4/8/14/20 damage (before reductions).

Infest, Control & Consume (0908603917h)[]
Lifestealer infests the body of a target unit, becoming undetectable inside. He can then explode from the host body, dealing damage to nearby enemies. If the infested unit is an enemy creep or a neutral creep, he can take control of the unit’s ability to move and attack, and when consumed the creep will heal Lifestealer’s health equal to the creep’s current health. Does not work on enemy heroes.

- This basic dispel removes buffs as well, and not only debuffs.
- Lifestealer is invulnerable and hidden during Infest.
- Lifestealer still gains experience and gold during Infest.
- During Infest, Lifestealer is periodically moved to the host’s current position. This affects multiple things such as:
- Can be cast on, but cannot take control over allied heroes and allied creep-heroes.
- When on level 2 or higher, can be cast on and take control over ancient creeps.
- Cannot be cast on Roshan, couriers, wards, buildings, enemy heroes and enemy creep-heroes.
- The infested unit receives the Infest Effect modifier, which creates the visual effect above it, visible to allies only.
- Once purchased, Lifestealer cannot drop or sell his Aghanim’s Scepter.

Lifestealer seizes control of the host body’s nervous system, allowing him to issue movement and attack orders from within. Controlled units share Lifestealer’s movement speed. Cannot be used on heroes.

Notes:
- This ability got removed in the 7.23 gameplay patch.
- Appears when Infest is cast and stays until Lifestealer gets out of the host.
- Cannot take control over heroes, creep-heroes and units already owned by Lifestealer. All other infestable units can be controlled.
- When the host cannot be controlled, this spell is inactive.
- Upon cast, Lifestealer gets de-selected and the infested unit gets selected automatically.
- The unit also gains the Consume ability, allowing Lifestealer to consume it from the unit’s HUD. It disappears when the unit’s ownership changes again.
- Unlike other dominating spells, Control does not applies any dispel on the target.
- Fully restores the unit’s mana upon cast. Its health stays unaffected.
- Constantly sets the unit’s movement speed to Lifestealer’s current movement speed, regardless of its default movement speed.
- If the infested unit was an ally of the opposing team, it still appears as an ally to them after taking control over it.
- However, since its ownership changes to that of Lifestealer’s, they can attack it by ordering it. It is not automatically attacked.
- Control can take over a unit only once per host. This means if an enemy takes over it with another dominating spell, Control cannot take it back.
Lifestealer eats the host body from the inside out, exploding from within.

The Lifestealer tears its way into the unfortunate body of a target unit, laying dormant and undetectable inside its living frame until he is ready to consume it and come to form. Regains health from the infested unit.

Lifestealer consumes this unit’s life, healing him and bursting out of it.

Lifestealer swallows an allied hero, allowing them to hide within him. Any healing Lifestealer receives is shared with the hero within. When an assimilated hero leaves Lifestealer, they erupt outward, damaging nearby enemies.

How can Lifestealer resist the chance to sample an ally?

- Unlike Infest, Assimilate applies a strong dispel on the target and disjoints projectiles upon cast.
- The allied hero is invulnerable, hidden and spell immune during Assimilate.
- The allied hero still gains experience and gold during Assimilate.
- The hero can simply get out of N’aix themself, still dealing the area damage, by issuing any order 2 seconds after being assimilated.
- During Assimilate, the allied hero is periodically moved to Lifestealer’s current position. This affects multiple things such as:
- Lifestealer receives the Assimilate Effect buff, which creates the visual effect above him, visible to allies only.
Ejects an Assimilated hero, damaging nearby enemies.
