Yesterday, a research paper brought to light a new malware called ‘WireLurker’ that is infecting iOS devices and Macs in China. The malware can infect both jailbroken and non-jailbroken devices when connected to an infected Mac through USB.

[external_link offset=1]If you’ve a jailbroken iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, and trying to update it to iOS 8 using OTA update, then you are probably seeing the “Checking for Update” screen as you can see above.
The issue is expected behaviour with jailbroken devices, as most modern jailbreaks like evasi0n and Pangu disable OTA updates to ensure jailbreakers don’t accidentally install the update.

While Auxo 2 may be impressive, some prefer the look and feel of the original Auxo over the crazy new tricks of its second iteration. A new tweak by the name of Switchr looks very similar to the original Auxo and has almost identical functionality, but has been restyled to fall in place with the visual appearance of iOS 7.
