Former biker gang leader Eikichi Onizuka has a new and reformed ambition: to become the greatest teacher ever. With a rowdy (and somewhat illegal) teaching style, and weakness for pretty girls, Mr. Onizuka finds himself in one predicament after another on his quest to «make school fun».

Onizuka’s favorite actress in the anime is Nanako Matsushima, who plays his love interest in the live-action drama version. Coincidentally, Matsushima is married to Takashi Sorimachi, who played Onizuka in that series.

Wish I had one great teacher onizuka in my class.
Onizuka, everybody’s ideal teacher. GTO was a bumpy and fun ride. Beginning was good , fresh and relatable to some degree then the middle was a bit bland and it gets good towards the end . Ending was disappointing, though.
