iPhone 7 Plus Singapore: A Game Changer in All Aspects
The iPhone 7 Plus is a breath of fresh air as it brings to the table a whole new set of features that iPhones have never had before: a dual-lens camera, water-resistant build, the Airpods, and most importantly, a bigger than ever battery capacity. The iPhone 7 Plus is a very bold upgrade in more than just one way as it dramatically improves all the essentials of an iPhone and the user experience that it gives.
Dual-Camera Setup: Doubles the Fun but Shoots as One
The iPhone 7 Plus doesn’t just have a brand new camera sensor, it has an entirely new dual-camera system composed of two lenses. Its resolution remains at 12MP and is true to both cameras that it carries. However, they each have their own function to play in order to bring out the best photography experience and produce the best photos for a smartphone. One is a 12MP wide-angle lens camera, and the other is a 12MP telephoto sensor – paving the way to a higher quality zoom and image stabilization which is now optical instead of digital. With the collaboration of these two camera sensors, the iPhone 7 Plus surely tops the smartphone camera category in more ways than one.
Splash and Water Resistant
Worry no more about getting your iPhone soaked under the rain or accidentally spill water on it, Apple has finally addressed that. The iPhone 7 Plus is now water and splash resistant! In fact, it can be soaked in water at 1-meter-deep for 30 mins and will still be as good as new. Finally, an iPhone that can walk on water! Underwater selfies are now possible with the iPhone 7 plus all thanks to its IP 67 Certification.
Lighting-Fast Processor
The iPhone 7 Plus is equipped with an A10 Fusion Chip which holds a Quad-core Processor that runs on 2.23GHz on each core. On the other hand, its Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) is composed of six cores. The iPhone 7 Plus’s processing unit is twice as fast as its predecessor and will surely make your user experience a lot smoother: whether you’re gaming, browsing, or doing whatever it is that you need to keep your day going.
Good Battery & Touch ID, but Sadly No Headphone Jack
With a battery capacity of 2900mAh, it has a good battery life that can support 18 hours of 3G calls, 13.5 hours of web browsing, or 8 hours of video playback on a single charge. A wow factor of the iPhone 7 Plus is its Touch ID feature on the home button pad, enabling all kinds of fingerprint verifications for app security. What may be disappointing for audiophiles is the lack of a headphone jack. This is because the charging cable and headphones will share the same port, so listening to music via wired headphones while charging the iPhone is not viable at all unless you utilise a special 2-in-1 dual Type-C adaptor that allows both activities to be carried out simultaneously.
Does iPhone 7 Plus need a screen protector?
Yes, a tempered glass screen protector is needed to protect your iPhone 7 Plus. It is uber-adhesive, easy to apply, scratch-resistant, and durable, as compared to a plastic screen protector.
Is the iPhone 7 Plus worth buying in 2020?
Since Apple released the iPhone 7 Plus back in September 2016, the tech giant has made more improvements to its hardware and software in their new iPhone series, making this predecessor an obsolete model in 2020. That said, the iPhone 7 Plus is deemed a reliable and durable smartphone that has all the user-friendly features and technology you need to carry out everyday tasks. So if you’re looking for a secondary phone, the iPhone 7 Plus is still a good choice for consideration.

The dual-camera system consists of a 28mm wide-angle f/1.8 lens and a 56mm “telephoto” f/2.8 lens.A focal length of 56mm is not really telephoto, but it is probably coined as such for the benefit of consumers. Essentially, it means the iPhone 7 Plus has a…
