Now we have seen awakened devil fruits of 2 Paramecia users and hopefully in future Luffy will also do the same and make everything around him all rubbery I guess

Maybe all the sourundings will become soul energy too, so his soul becomes stronger?
[external_link offset=1]Brook is awakened. I know it’s a big claim but it may have traction. From my understanding awakening of paramecias effects the world around you. Brooks fruit simply revives his soul and controls his soul to stay attached to a body. What I believe would happen when brook awakened would be able to effect other souls and control his fruit more. I believe in WCI this was finalised.
The first instance of more control of his fruit was in FMI. Brook was trapped with usopp and zoro. He transformed back into his soul and got help. This was the first demonstration of greater control. The time that for me solidified this theory was in wci when he controlled the weak souls of the chess pieces. These chess pieces were rendered inanimate by the yomi yomi nomi. Brook demonstrates he can effect the world/souls around him.
The only reason i say he is awakened is cause is fruit is the revive revive fruit and not the soul soul fruit.:)) YOHOHOHO

Yeah i wouldn’t be surprised if he has awakened it. He can even bring out the chill of the underworld. Unless he can start reviving dead bodies i doubt he isn’t.

I think Brook’s soul has a black hole where all the physical food and drink go. Like another dimension, probably to the soul world. He is the Soul King after all.
I mean the big paper copy of the poneglyph would be impossible to fit on his head if it didn’t go somewhere.
