Nobisuke Nobi (Nobita’s son)

Nobisuke Nobi (ノビスケ Nobisuke) is the son Nobita and Shizuka.
One of his most prominent appearances was when he ran away from home and visited Nobita’s childhood years. At the end, Doraemon made him go home by bringing Nobisuke’s own son (Nobita’s grandson), who accused him of harsh parenting.
[external_link_head]In one episode, it’s suggested that Nobisuke got married 45 years after Nobita’s childhood, and had his honeymoon on the Moon.

His most well-known appearance is in Mini-Dora SOS!!, where he and his two friends (Suneki and Jaichibi, the sons of Suneo and Gian respectively) end up misusing Mini Dora. They are essentially the Three Stooges of their time, staying friends as they always get even with each other.
Another appearance is that after his father showed him his “100 test”, he decides to investigate further more, until he found a map, thinking that is was a hidden treasure that his father buried it, when he was a kid. Later on, present Nobita and Doraemon visits the future and tells his future self if he ever remembers the Time Capsule that he buried 25 years ago, when he finally remembers, he got exposed by Nobisuke after he found Nobita’s pack of “0” test inside the Time Capsule while laughing, unaware of the fact that most men in Nobita’s family often slack in academics.
Personality
Nobisuke is usually the opposite of his father and is comparable to Gian in his youth. He is a menacing bully, not hesitating to attack his father Nobita and Doraemon before he recognized them, and frequently bullies Gian and Sueno’s sons, much to the dismay of Shizuka Minamoto.
Unlike Nobita, he is rather outgoing and doesn’t shy away at most circumstances, such as referring to a young Shizuka as his mother (after being informed of her identity), much to her confusion and embarrassment. He does, however, inherit his lazy habits from his father, forcing Shizuka to constantly chastise him.

Trivia
- He is married to a girl named Yukari.
- It’s suggested that Nobisuke has at least two children because in volume 21 of the manga, Sewashi Nobi has a cousin who looks almost exactly like Shizuka.
- In the short movie Mini-Dora SOS!!, his name is credited as Nobi instead of Nobisuke. (This may be an error.)
- In the 1979 anime adaption of Nobita’s Son Ran Away From Home and Time Skipping Pulley, Nobisuke’s hair is brown
- In the 1979 anime adaptation of Nobita’s Bride, Nobisuke wears glasses like his father whereas later appearances would show him without glasses.
- His personality is somewhat similar to the the menacing counterpart of Nobita from The Opposite World Mirror though he is less antagonistic.
- His name was actually Nobio in the 1979 (Remade) not the 1979 (Original).
- While his name is the same as Nobita’s father, it name is presented in Katakana, instead of Hiragana used for his grandfather.
