Saigon Jokers is a League of Legends team based in Vietnam. They were first formed to compete in 2012 GPL Season 1. The Saigon Jokers were the first Vietnamese League of Legends team to form.

Season 2[]
Saigon Jokers was originally formed in April of 2012 to play in the 2012 GPL Season 1. SAJ started with 10 members chosen from more than 2000 candidates across Vietnam. Through out the league, they generally maintained third place overall. At the beginning of the season in the 2012 GPL Season 1 Opening Event they placed third, defeating Kuala Lumpur Hunters 1-0.
On September 9, 2012, the Saigon Jokers competed in the Season Two South East Asian Regional Finals for the South East Asian slot at the Season 2 World Championship. After losing to the Singapore Sentinels in the second round they played through the Loser’s Bracket, defeating the Kuala Lumpur Hunters and TNC GG.PH to eventually face the Singapore Sentinels once again in the finals. They defeated their rivals 2-1 despite starting with a one game disadvantage, securing the upset and earning themselves a place at the championship. [1]
On October 4, 2012, the Jokers traveled to Los Angeles to participate in the Season 2 World Championship. They were widely regarded as the clear underdogs for the event based on rankings from several writers and professionals. [2] In their first match of the group stage, they built a small early lead against NaJin Sword but were unable to convert it into a win. Their next game was played against Team Dignitas; the Jokers pulled off a huge upset, maintaining a significant gold lead throughout the game and taking the win. This set up a final match against CLG EU to decide the second team to advance from Group B. However, the Jokers failed to match the relentless farming and objective pushing of their European opponents. They finished in 9th-10th place, taking home $ 50,000.

Although their sister team Saigon Fantastic Five was founded with former players of Saigon Jokers (special their former Jungler Violet ), they still was the most powerful team in Vietnam. After their victory at Glourious Arena Season 3, they participated in Road to Legends with a big confidence but they was defeated by Saigon Fantastic Five and Full Louis. As the champions of Glorious Arena Season 3, Saigon Jokers and another Saigon’s team, Xgame, participated in Season 3 Southeast Asia Regional Finals but they was defeated by the tournament’s champions, Mineski.
Season 4[]
Their season started when they were defeated by Full Louis in Glorious Arena Season 4. They won all matches against other teams in that tournament but with second defeated match against Full Louis, Saigon Jokers finished Glorios Arena Season 4 at 2nd place. In 2014 GPL Winter, they changed their roster when Optimus became the starting mid laner while Nixwater became a sub. With Optimus appearance, they were the only Vietnamese team can reach to semi-finals before they were defeated by the defending cup team Taipei Assassins. In 2014 GPL Spring, Saigon Jokers was the only team won a game against ahq e-Sports Club in Group Stage. At Quaterfinal matches, they defeated their sister team Saigon Fantastic Five 3-1. They finished this tournament at 3rd – 4th place after defeated by ahq e-Sports Club and Taipei Snipers. In All-stars 2014 Paris, QTV and Archie represented Southeast Asia to participate the tournament.

- November 28, roster is released. Row, yT, Heaven, HanYiAn, Warzone, Lovida, Celebrity, RonOP, Tsu, and Slay leave.[17]
- January 10, Qualified for IEM Season IX – Taipei.
- January 29, 3rd-4th place at IEM Season IX – Taipei.
- March 19, Carrot leaves, GoNy and Yushin join.[11][12]
- May 16, Auzeze, Jinkey, Carrot, MinaS, and Sunny join. Safety, Lovida, Yushin, and GoNy leave.[13]
- June (approx.), Safety rejoins. Sunny moves to Saigon Fantastic Five.
- August 14, Lovida replaces Carrot in SEA Regional Finals 2015 .[14]
- December 14, RoW, Celebrity, and RonOP join. Jinkey moves to main roster. Curot renames to Warzone and rejoins. Prince, Henry, and Safety leave. Nixwater moves to being an analyst. Minas retires.[15]
- January 8, 4th place at 2014 GPL Winter.
- April 6, 4th place at 2014 GPL Spring.
- May 14, Junie and Egg leave.[5]
- May 16, Irean joins as an analyst.[6]
- May 21, QTV, Optimus and Lovida leave. GoNy, NIXWATER, Vigoss, Jinkey, and Uzi join.[7]
- June 9, Jinkey leaves.
- August 19, 4th place at 2014 Season Garena Regional Finals.
- September 5, Archie leaves.[8]
- September 12, GoNy leaves.[9]
- October 21, Lovida , Prince, TSU, and Carrot join, while Vigoss and Uzi leave.[10]
- June 17, Burning leaves.[3]
- August 18, 3rd place at Season 3 Southeast Asia Regional Finals
- October 14, Lee In Cheol joins as the coach.
- October 18, MinaS and Optimus join.
- December 23, MinaS and NIXWATER leave. Egg rejoins.[4]
- April 21, Saigon Jokers is formed to compete in the 2012 GPL Season 1.
- May 5, 3rd place at 2012 GPL Season 1 Opening Event.
- September 9, 1st place at Season Two South East Asian Regional Finals.
- October 4, 9th-10th place at Season 2 World Championship.
