This article will show you how to access the Disk Management utility in Windows 7.

The Disk Management utility will allow you to:
- View partitions on the detected hard drives
- Partition a new drive
- Change the drive letter assignment
- Format a drive
Follow the instructions below to access the Disk Management Utility.

1. Click on Start and right-click Computer.
2. Click on Manage
3. A window titled Computer Management will open displaying two panes. Click on Disk Management.
